Resistance on Reddit feeds
V1.6.1 adds wheel and touch resistance to Reddit home, subreddit, search and custom feeds. It includes modern Reddit and old.reddit.com. Individual post and comment pages, messages, settings, community wikis and post editors keep their normal scrolling.
Typing and conversations stay usable
While resistance is active on a selected feed, common page-scrolling keys and Reddit's j/k navigation are guarded. Typing fields, browser shortcuts and player controls stay usable. Pausing resistance in manual mode restores ordinary feed controls.
A separate switch and history
Reddit has its own feed switch and daily, weekly and monthly history. Time counts while a selected feed is focused and engaged. Text-feed time stops after one minute without input; visible playing video can keep it active. Posts are estimates of feed cards in view for at least one second, rather than clicks or proof of reading.
Use the same 21-day plan
The recommended plan increases resistance from 10× on day 1 to 2500× on day 21. Manual mode keeps your chosen resistance fixed from 50× to 2500×. Reddit follows the same plan and local history settings as your other selected feeds.
Your history stays local
Optional reporting remains off by default. When enabled, it shares daily totals and plan progress with a random installation ID. No Reddit posts, comments, search terms, page URLs, emails or license keys are included in usage reports.
