scrollharder.lol is a local browser extension. Its job is to make scrolling harder—not to watch what you do.
What the extension stores
Settings such as your resistance level, enabled sites, slow-down runway, and stadium toggle are stored with Chrome’s extension storage. Effort stats such as input pixels, sessions, dates, and the supported site where effort was recorded are stored locally so the popup and settings page can show your progress.
That data does not leave the browser through the extension. There is no account, tracking SDK, advertising ID, remote code, or feed-content collection.
When you activate a paid key, the extension sends that key to scrollharder.lol’s license proxy, which checks it with Dodo Payments. The key is stored locally so the extension can remember this browser; feed activity and effort stats are not sent.
What the website handles
The website uses Umami, privacy-conscious aggregate website analytics, to understand page visits and the purchase funnel—not to identify extension users or read feed activity. It is cookieless, sets no advertising identifiers, and keeps no cross-site profile. If you submit the uninstall survey, only your selected reason is sent.
If you buy the product, Dodo Payments handles checkout and the information required for payment and delivery under its own policies. The website does not receive your card number.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information or use extension data for advertising. Local extension data remains until you clear it or remove the extension. Website and payment providers may retain information under their own terms and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can disable any supported site, turn off friction, turn off the stadium, or delete the extension’s stored data through your browser. If you have a privacy question, contact @sudhamjayanthi on X.
