What does scrollharder.lol do?
It makes selected short-form feeds harder to move through by requiring more input for each pixel of feed movement. It is resistance, not restriction: you can keep scrolling when you mean to.
Which feeds can I control?
V1 supports YouTube Shorts, X, and Instagram Reels. Controls are per site, so you do not have to apply the same setting everywhere.
Can I still use keyboard shortcuts?
While friction is enabled on a selected feed, V1.2.3 suppresses common feed-advance keys, including X j, k, and ., and Shorts/Reels navigation shortcuts. Typing fields, browser modifiers, and player controls stay usable.
Privacy and pricing
What data leaves my browser?
V1 does not include extension telemetry, a tracking SDK, an account, or feed-content collection. Effort and session stats are kept in chrome.storage.local.
How much does it cost?

What is still on the roadmap?
Optional off-hours blocking remains a roadmap idea. The slow-down runway is included in the current download.
